New demo out for the game featuring headlights something more of theses games should have.  Still 8 days to go and still needs another £3K to hit the target.

About £2,500 to hit the target and 3 days to get it, looks like it going to go to the wire but still got a very good chance of hitting it. More updates over the next 3 days,

Yeah, it's all pretty close! I'm still hopeful though... Here's a sneak peak of the latest combat AI:

It's not over till the fat lady sings and it's often the case with Kickstarter that they come good in the last 24 hours, if you can get another couple of updates out, you might push it over the target.

Yeah posted in the chat about the kickstarter to hopefully get a bit more interest, only need around $3k. And not knocking any kickstarter, but I have been seeing a lot of space game kickstarters not make it when I thought they would. Plus Sol Trader 2 website also has a purchase option too so who knows how many people purchased through that as well that could have been in the kickstarter total.

New update. see the road map on Kickstarter. Hi all,I know I keep saying it, but thanks so much again for all your support for Sol Trader. I've had so much great feedback and love for the game concept and so many of you have enjoyed the preview demo I've put out. Despite it only being a cut down version of the game, and without a save option, I've heard reports of people have playing it for hours and having a great time! (If you haven't had a chance to play it you can watch the video walkthrough.)Here's a little more insight into my thinking process for the next week, as the campaign draws to a close. The "funded" planThis is what will happen next if Sol Trader gets funded:INSIDER backers and above will receive access to a special forum on the Sol Trader forums where new builds will be posted as often as possible. The public demo will stop being updated.Backing levels will still be available to purchase on the website, but the prices will increase: the game pre-order price will go up to £15, the same as the expected retail price. INSIDER access will go up from £20 to £25.The higher pledge levels and rewards will continue to be available on the website until at least the end of the year.I do have a Plan B if Sol Trader doesn't get funded, but it makes things much easier if it does: at the moment I'm hopeful that I can still make it! The campaign has got about 49 hours to go, and I'm at 77% funded. This is a great time to get the word out if you haven't already!

Good question: I'll be cross-posting Kickstarter updates to the news and announcements forum: http://forums.soltrader.net/?forum=467408 You can register and subscribe to the forum to get emailed about new updates. Hope that helps! ThanksChris

Sol Trader has hit Steam, well for beta backers as I just been informed that I can download it now. for anyone not in the beta you will have to wait until the 6 of June http://store.steampowered.com/app/396680/ ( D-day).

Game now out on Steam early access.  Not had much of a chance to play it but from the brief look I have had of it , the game does have a more unusual spin the on the standard space trading game.
