Looks like the band is back for the last season and I still have not got around to watching the 2nd season yet.

Looks like they are sending the crew off in a good way.

The special effects look great for a TV series. Maybe end of the year I will sign up for Prime again and binge watch the Picard series since its not on Netflix yet

So again I have picked this up on DVD and binge watched over the last week and bye god this is good and it's a must watch for any next generation fan. The only negative comment I have too make is the last episode is a bit of re run of Jedi with the Enterprise flying into a giant borg cube, guess the writers ran out of ideas.
One over nick pick is that in both this and Strange New Worlds the Enterprise should not fly like a fighter.

My son rented Paramount+ for a month and I binged this show and it was pretty good (especially it you are a generations fan), I think the show got better as it went along with the 3rd season being its best. They did a nice send off for the original cast.... and they possibly setup something for a future show around Jack and 7of9.
I would say its a watch especially if you watched all of the TNG series.

It was a big missed opportunity. I think the lesson here is that actors are awesome and do amazing things with characters but they don't always know better than the writers. Patrick Stewart got his vision of older Picard and I don't think it was true to the TNG character at all. It's so obvious the show should've been about wise-old diplomat Picard on a Galaxy-class-type ship being escorted from planet to planet solving the galaxy's problems. Ah well!
