I will try to take some screenshots tonight. But basically if you are in full screen mode it will appear in the middle. And when I go into windowed mode and lets say I move the game window around to the right of screen. Now I click about and it will not be on the game screen itself it will be on the desktop instead or is that the expected result?Another thing I noticed with the about and only an opinion is the scrolling of the credits. Personally I think the credit header is top and if you scroll through the credits it should stop at the last line and if you scroll up it should go past the first entry. I know this is nit picking. But its the QA engineer in me to point those out :)

Hi, i'm having trouble with a "Characters are too large or too many" error message when clicking the "proceed" button. I tried installing the fonts but i still have the same problem. I use Windows XP sp3, with a core 2 duo E8400, 2Go ram and a Geforce 9800 GTX (1600*1200 screen resolution).Other than that, i'm very interested in this project and i really look forward to it, i'm also french and i have a similar project, but mine would be a 2D browser game (i'm still not sure if i will be motivated enough to finish it).Anyway, you have my support, and i hope i will be able to play your game soon.

Thanks for the fast answer, the new .exe worked, well i wasn't able to do anything except rotating and zooming the view, but i guess thats what you were referring to by "missing data on 3d view" ^^.So... i'll be waiting for this weekend and the new snapshot :ugeek:

Great update Farcodev. Looks like v0.1.5 bring colonies to the game :)Are you planning to integrate those models from solcommand into FC?

I have a newb question Farcodev. In Far Colony are you focusing on just the creation of one Colony or are we trying to colonize more than one planet. From what I get out of your description there is a lot of depth in the creation and maintaining of your Colony. So doesn't sound like you would have much time for more than one Colony :)But i guess that all depends on the passage of time in the game.

So.. is the only thing doable in the game so far, is just to get a nice orbital view of AC-A2 and surface map?

Yes, it's the only purpose of this vaporware dead-end project, at least it makes a nice screenshot.
vaporware... naaa. Your just the average indie developer that has to have a real job and work on his passion in the huge free time your job allows. You have to look at it that your in the feedback and idea stage :) But I did like the surface map feature and I take it there will be some sort of scan process that will pick out some possibly colony sites that you can choose from on the basis of the scan?

So just so I have this right farcodev, the planet scan is only for finding resources on the planet? So can only one colony can occupy a planet?

Excuse me? I did NOT make a 'critic' as you put it of anything. I asked a simple question. One that I found no answer to anywhere, stating 'You can't do anything in the game so far but stare at the planet'. I was making sure that's all it was and that I wasn't doing something wrong. I don't particularly like when people put words in my mouth, when they are not what im saying. Not to mention, critiquing is how things get done. Asking, suggesting, making notes of things to dev's. That's the whole process of how things work. I did none of that, I asked a very simple question one that could have been answered with a simple 'Yep, that's it so far', would have worked just as easily.

At this pace Farcodev you will be done sooner than that 2014 date you threw around :)Like seeing you starting to integrate those new ship models. With the features you are adding you must have your room plastered with notes and calculations. I know there is a lot of math behind FC you ever have a hard time getting the calculations right?
