He mentioned 1 BIG update every month, with another update every few weeks. They are apparently getthing things worked out so that you can raise your pledge on Paypal if need be. DB didn't run. There is NOWHERE on Earth he could hide from the ravenous Elite fans.

Updates will be coming, but there is still a lot of logistical stuff to organise. Of course, in the background development is ongoing and more people are being moved onto Elite:Dangerous each day, but I imagine the next couple of updates will be mainly to do with pledge tiers and rewards. The next update will no doubt be the web app, which should be with you guys some time next week. This will be a platform where backers can claim their digital rewards, as well as manage any future pledges and provide details such as delivery addresses or information for gifts you may want to send.

Frontier have set up their registration site for E:D Hi,this is just a quick update to let you know that the web app for managing your rewards has gone live. The email notifications are going out as I type this. The process will take a while, so don't worry if you haven't received your email yet. Got commander Pinback registered. :biggrin:

I'm still waiting for approval - but that doesn't really surprise me. I'm prepared for my commander name to be rejected (quite possible) - but I do hope it is approved, as I've been Commander Cody since BBC Elite. But we shall see - ho-hum!

Saw a thread about commander names on the Frontier forum and a lot of whinging in it, thought I better check my backer site again. Looks like I was wrong I had thought the names had gone through but it now looks like they are "pending approval".

I have raided the dark-side in Oolite, and have gazed upon the ancient and enigmatic book of code. There I was approached by boffins, who did tempt me to remain among them. But I resisted and managed to escape, clutching mysterious code... and cookies!

Just had a look at my Elite backer page and it say they will start approving names from Monday 4 of feb. Also the backer forums will be going live on the same day.

Their is two of them, the Private backer forum which I have access to was the £75+ tier and the Design decision forum on the £300+ tier. Would have loved to have gone for the Design decision forum but there was just no way I was going to spend that amount of money on a game.
