Thank you Geraldine. Pioneer has just released 131202, but nothing changes for the player.And do not worry, you do not need, for now, another fix pack. :prankster:

Tichy, the discussion on the dev forum is to use this technique to make a more realistic Milky Way. Too bad this prototype is just for Windows, but FluffyFreak says he'll do other OS versions too.

But first I'm going to tell you a brief story.A while ago, @Shadmar issued a patch that turned the sky black and white to color.I have it running since then from my master and looks like this:But you have a problem. This looks very ugly!Then came @fluffyfreak with SkyBox. And now, it's not so very ugly......and it can improve. But, the combination is fantastic. Although, maybe I'm wrong and this is all crap. :pilot:

It's definitely not crap, or even mierda, but I think the color saturation of the stars needs to be reduced to approximate what we see in a clear night sky.

I have a bug report. Often when I use the keyboard to select menu items the game crashes with a red screen. I've seen it happen while docked and trying to select the bulletin board and while flying and trying to request landing clearance. I haven't seen this occur in the stock 20131224 build. Here's the screen.[attachment=2442:Screenshot from 2013-12-26 16:19:37.png]If I go back to a saved game and use the mouse to do the same action the error doesn't occur.

Hi Marcel! This is not a bug of Scout, is an old bug Pioneer who are trying to solve in the nucleus. It happens very rarely and under certain circumstances. Look here: [url]https://github.com/pioneerspacesim/pioneer/issues/2544[/url] It has been reported on more than one occasion.

Perhaps the reason I haven't seen it in a stock version of Pioneer is that I always play Scout+. I just load plain Pioneer for testing. The crash doesn't just occur after loading a saved game, however. I can take off and arrive at my destination, request clearance and the game crashes. Of course, I loaded a saved game before I took off. I'll just use the mouse for now. It reminds me of the old joke;I said to my doctor, "It hurts when I do this."He said, "Then, don't do that."
