Looking at the agricultural worlds makes me wonder why oceans on alien planets seem always to be green. Has anyone found an Earth-like planet with blue oceans?

Looking at the agricultural worlds makes me wonder why oceans on alien planets seem always to be green. Has anyone found an Earth-like planet with blue oceans?I never met a planet like earth, with the same kind of blue and green. There are planets with similar atnosphere and similar yellow sunlight, but they never look like earth.

Miranda's Grave, in Tau Ceti, is quite Earth-like.

@ Tichy, Tau Ceti is one of the local stars, defined in 02_local_stars.lua. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Anyway, I'm heading over there to check it out the next time I'm able to launch! :biggrin:

@EveryoneYou should be able to "TAB" the GUI away for screenshots in the latest nightly builds, press TAB once to get rid of labels, press again to get rid of the GUI AND display the system name/coordinates, press again to get it all back Should make for some cleaner, GUI-less, screenshots. Also if you want to disable even the system name + coordinates then you can add "DisableScreenshotInfo=1" to your config.ini file and it will get rid of that text too! Cleanest of clean screeshots! Enjoy Andy
