All of it

Seriously I have never been a fan of the X games myself, the only one I managed to play a while was X2.Anyhow as to any scrips or fixes for the new game one would be a fix that would reveal the whole universe on the universe map same for the sector map

Sure. If exploration isn't your thing, or you are playing *again* in a universe that you have mostly explored in a previous game, then Galaxy Explorers can be set to explore unknown sectors for you. This multi-purpose script can be configured to do as much or as little exploring as you like:
Explore Unknown SectorsCreate a Satellite NetworkScan SectorsScan AsteroidsAvoid Hostile Sectors (or not)The common setup is to put Galaxy Explorer on a fast ship, such as an M4 (interceptor) or M5 (scout). Perhaps one that you captured during combat or bought used from an individual. Or you can just buy them at a shipyard, because M5's are pretty cheap. You can have as many explorers as you like: they will tend to fan out to explore different sectors on their own (eventually). The explorer ship will require Explorer Command Software, which is available at Teladi Equipment Docks (also at NMMC Headquarters in the PTNI Headquarters sector). Optional equipment: A Mineral Scanner allows scanning asteroids, and a Jump Drive allows emergency jumping away from attackers (increases survivability of your explorers when in dangerous territory). To reveal what is in a sector, you would either drop a satellite or scan the sector. A single satellite is sufficient for most sectors, so that is what I do on the first pass. To find objects that are out of range of a single satellite, either drop multiple satellites (at gates) or scan the sectors to about 120% of the radius of the sector. Scanning the sectors is thorough but time-consuming, so I recommend multiple explorers if you do that. Or be patient.

But, really, dropping satellites is much faster and will reveal 90% or more of the stations in a sector. Plus, you probably will want the satellites for trading, because they relay current trading information (inventory and prices) to you.Galaxy Explorers is one of my personal favorites.Another option is Game Start Sector Reveal which skips all of the exploration and immediately reveals sectors. I have not tried this one, so I cannot give you more details. If you try it, I would love to hear your experiences with it.

If you are new to scripting X3, here are some handy Script Resources:
Tutorial - Installing scripts and mods <== This excellent picture tutorial has not been updated for Albion Prelude (AP). AP puts everything under the addon\ folder, rather than the X3 folder. So scripts would be addon\scripts, and t files go in addon\t, etc. I hope that makes sense. :)Plugin Manager simplifies installation and management of your scripts. It is mostly easy to use and mostly reliable (except for ship mods in AP). It does have a few quirks, so read/ask on the thread if you run into trouble.I updated the links in my previous posts to make it easier to find the scripts that I reference:Some of my favorite scripts. Also:Bullwinkle's tips on carrier and trader management, Automating Trading (Sector and Universe Traders made simple), andGalaxy ExplorersStreamlining X3 The first post is a list of good scripts for automating many features of X3.Search EgoSoft with Google This link is much better than the search feature in the forum.Community Script Library is a list of many of the more common scripts. It is far from all-inclusive, but it is a good starting point.Scripts and Modding Forum is the place to discuss scripts or look for information about them.Reference Resources:
X3 Wiki is an excellent place to look up information about ships, weapons, and other vanilla objects.X3TC.ru is similar reference site, which is slightly easier for comparing ships and weapons.

Ka'plah. (Is "Ka'plah" properly pronounced without an exclamation point? Or is it always, "Ka'plah!"?)BTW, I updated my post with the installation tutorial. AP puts scripts in addon\scripts, t files in addon\t, and so on for other sub-folders.

I forgot to mention Memia AutoScan Sector. As it says on the tin, this script automatically "scans" the entire sector as you enter it. That reveals all of the stations, asteroids, etc.I see that this is a .spk file, which is a Plugin Manager installer file. It is like a .zip, but with a few settings that the Plugin Manager uses. This .spk has not been updated for Albion Prelude, so it may or may not install correctly. You can update the .spk by using the package Creator application that comes with the Plugin Manager. Or you can extract the files (with the tools that come with the Plugin Manager) and install them yourself into the proper folders under addon.
