I think it's intentionally linked to the hud. If I didn't misunderstood, speed lines, like nav tunnels, are intended as visual clues provided by the ship's interface. :)By the way, very nice shots! I like mostly the ones from Edand, GJ1286 c, Miranda Colony, Stanton Colony, Phobos and Rhea. :)And those planets with psychedelic colours are very curious.

Is their a way to capture photos with the speedlines and withought the hud? Sadly not at the moment, it's part of the HUD, an A(rtificial)R(eality) overlay effectively. Submit an issue for it on GitHub though and someone (maybe me) will get around to making it just hide the control panel along the bottom one day.

Not much of a flashy image, but I had to try the old experiment of reaching lightspeed. And I almost have the fuel reserves to slow down even with the reserves at 1/4. Two not very honest screenshots (they are cropped and manipulated*) from Phobos and Deimos and two from Io. :prankster: * I'm playing again with gimp and tilt shift effect... I tried to highlight the ships: my Pumpkinseed and a Mola Mola. I promise to stop before it will become annoying like the lens flare effect did some years ago. :prankster:

Going to be uploading to Mod DB soon with the final build for 2013. I have to say the images you guys took of the game throughout the year have been utterly amazing. They have shown just how far Pioneer has progressed and I thank each and everyone of you. The Mod DB site would look a poor place indeed without your contributions. :curtsey:

Some nice planets with life I found on my journey to a certain planet, also ended flying around a moon for about 20 minutes admiring the changing colours of its atmoshphere (went from blue, pink, turquoise to a crimson red, didnt get screenshots of all them though).
