Lockdown, and its easing, is getting to me. Outside, it's raining - has been all day! And I've got the blues!
A little number from a one-off gig, featuring a guitar break from someone with a very distinctive style...

Solstitial salutations! Staying with folk music, this is from one of my all-time favourite albums...

I was thinking of posting a Pentangle number. A very professional outfit they were, top class musicians, each and everyone of them.
Now, if you will "forgive me Cody" here is something that took even Mick Jagger back when he and his band decided to put on a spacial show, and no, I am not taking about what Lynyrd Skynyrd did back in Knebworth '76, although that too was awesome. No, instead something a good bit earlier and, when I first heard this song I couldn't believe who was doing it. A foretaste perhaps of what was later to come in the shape of "Tommy"? John Entwistle is awesome here.
I have a list of many concerts I wish I could have went to and this one was always near the very top of that list; The Rock 'n Roll Circus. What a show that was!

Just listening to that Who number makes me wonder, where did all the time go?

I love Unhalfbricking, and as for Sandy Denny - what a voice! Another tortured soul who died too young!

Ah yes, I remember them well. Randy Bachman (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) on guitar.

My friend, the Dylan fan, recently picked up a Guess Who album from 1970. This, amongst other things, was on it. Loved it, a great band!
Oh, by the way, she liked the Heavy Jelly track you posted too.

Still sticking with European performers, he is something very different. Luc Arbogast who lists Led Zeppelin as one of his influences. Here you can see why, what a range he has. Don't know how medieval music like will sit with you folks tho but here he is. I think he is fantastic.

From French to Spanish: Radio Tarifa mixed Flamenco, Moorish, and Arabian influences, among others - some going back to the middle ages. They created a quite unique and atmospheric sound - and the dancing girl knew how to strut her stuff too!

Dude! Seriously, just got visions of driving down highways late at night with nothing to keep me company but a blaring radio. Great pick.
