I like the detailed Mission Details screen for the Search & Rescue missions! I hope you don't mind if I use some of these ideas in the future. I can only learn from a Pioneer Pro like you! Also great idea with the money lending business. :)

It looks great, but the English translation needs some improvement. If you send me the en.json files I'll edit them. Hopefully I'll get the corrections back to you before you release G25F.

What can I say? Walterar, Scout Plus just keeps getting better and better! Wonderful work that of course will get the usual bump on ModDB when I upload the current Pioneer build. These new missions are amazing! :girlcrazy:

Just fired it up there Walterar and noticed there is not any female commander portraits, just the guys with those multifaceted eye glasses. It's not important Walterar and for all I know its intentional but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

Thanks! I'm using dial-up for a few days, so I can't download the entire game. I got the lang folder. Hopefully I'll improve it a little. :pioneer:Geraldine, the new facegen is in the beginning phase. Female faces haven't been done yet. There will be much more added to it in the future. ;)

First Search and Rescue mission, in Pioneer Scout Plus G25f The last phase approach looks a little messy, but with a little practice can be improved. ;) It will be different when we have a proper function of coupling between ships in space. @Geraldine the new face gen. assets is something Evarchart / Wayne has been working on (and off) for more than 1.5 years (search all his posts on dev forum). We're very excited about them, but we don't want to include them in pioneer just yet since they're current only half finished, as they're lacking female faces and some civilian clothes.@clausimu please take what you want from scout+ and I'd be happy if you could migrate it back upstream to pioneer (for instance the S&R modifications), so we can all benefit from the improvements. That's how free software works at it's best, we hack and improve each others code, and preferably share it upstream, so all get the benefits.I salute Scout+ as it will always pack more ships and sky boxes and other stuff to walterar's vision, than vanilla pioneer. Each serves its purpose, and together we can improve each other.

Hello Walterar, I have come across a problem and figured out the solution extracting version G25f in Windows, I am using windows 10 and 7-Zip 15.12 which is the latest version. When trying to extract it complains there is already a readme.txt file extracted in datafacegen and prompts if you wish to over write however the program has froze and it has to be closed using task manager. The problem appears to be because there are two very similarly named files: readme.txtReadme.txt I have done a quick experiment and it appears you can't have two files with the same name and different capitalisation in Windows. This appears to be whats tripping up the extractor. Changing the name of one of the files in the archive to readme2.txt solves the problem and it extracts without issue.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. :drinks:After all, Scout Plus is the best customer of Pioneer engine. :)

Marcel. I updated the release pack and have uploaded to SourceForge in replacing the previous, including your corrections to the English language. Thanks friend. :fan: Now we just need volunteers to translate the missing strings in other languages. German, for example. :derisive:

Here's a bug. I was doing a refuel mission when I accidentally crashed into the target ship. Instead of seeing a tombstone I got this message.[attachment=3383:Screenshot from 2016-01-07 19:26:55.png]Clicking OK exited the game.

Marcel. Yes, I have detected this error and was corrected a few days ago, please download again. :download: :shout: The message that caused this error is: " {crime} can not be tolerated here!" and he was moved from "lang/core" to "lang/ui-core". Many language strings changed places in the Pioneer engine and I missed some, sorry. :sorry:

My unreliable internet connection has been keeping me from downloading your latest version, so I'm going to try that mission again. I promise to be more careful this time. :pioneer:I think there are too many rescue missions on the bulletin boards. They should be more rare to find. It looks like too many of the AI ships are piloted by new players! :pilot:

I'm not sure if walterar changed the frequency of ad creation for rescue missions in Scout+. But I did notice myself during extended play that there are too many of such missions. I changed that for the next bug-fix release of this script. If it is still too many, let me know. I still need to crack some other bugs before releasing it though.

Walterar, I got the latest PioneerSPG-25F. The collision with the target ship works perfectly. :pioneer:I wonder if updated versions should have incremented names, like PioneerSPG-25Fa. Then we would be sure we have the latest version.Clausimu, this is wonderful, but I was unsure of what I needed to do to complete the mission. I got within 100m and nothing happened so I crashed into the target ship as a test. I researched and read on the development forum that I need to stay within :O 50m, but that info should be given to the player before acceptance of the mission. Perhaps I missed it. This is going to be the trickiest thing I've done since docking with the ISS in Orbiter! I'm lovin' it! :biggrin:
