Sorry, I recorded them in 1280x800. I can go up to 1920x1200 but I can't guarantee a constant framerate (surely not near the cities).I deleted my save files, but I think that I can record again some scene, if necessary. I just have to go to the same places and try to do the same things

But anyone that wants to should, don't wait for me

OK :)Just downloaded all the videos which is bigger than 10 mb. Will watch for interesting parts and probably make some draft.It would be good if originals have bigger resolution. BTW, first link in your sig leads to 404

All videos in one day??? :O There are some short clips with multiple views and other long uncut sequenced from which you can extract some clip. I tried to include everything (except some goofs

), to le the editor choose which part to use.

If you want, you may use my music as a background (probably my Arp series would fit Pioneer's atmosphere) - just remember to credit me for my work (link to my youtube channel for example

)

All videos in one day???There are some short clips with multiple views and other long uncut sequenced from which you can extract some clip.Yes, it's 1.4 Gb so far :)OK, I'll look on short clips too. There might be sime interesting scenes inside.I've searched for a logo as well and found it on this forum - SVG version - just converted it to Illustrator format to be compatible with After Effects. Was looking for some screenshots as well, but eventually link to screenshots gallery gives me '500 Internal Server Error' (http://pioneerspacesim.net/image/tid/1 there are some good material in your videos, I'm extracting some footages now where camera is not jumping or moves / changes view too fast. I'll let you know what I've choose and maybe you will be willing to re-film these parts (possibly with a bigger resolution (1920x1080 would be great, but anyway 1280x800 (I'll use 1280x720) is very good as well). you may use my music as a backgroundThanks Pizemyslav, but I'm going to make my own music/sound for this video

The last comment from trupet is of some time ago and I don't know what he did or if he's still interested.Anyway, my stock videos are there for anyone who's interested. (I still have the raw uncoded videos, but they are ~192GB)I think that they could be integrated with some new material showing the new ships, but at the moment I can't run pioneer because of problems with my video drivers (long story... pioneer works only with closed source Ati drivers, while flight gear works with open source drivers. I like both games, but I don't like to switch drivers every day...). I am definitely interested I've just been slammed with too much work. I also ran out of space on my laptop converting everything to ProRes - it ran out of space on only the 2nd movie!!! I'm redownloading to my main edit suite this time. Sorry for the lengthy delays everyone

It was just looking as the project is abandoned.Good luck with it. BTW, what you mean by "converting everything to ProRes" ? Converting 1280x720 to higher resolution?Just curious

@Ray Do not stop. We would all like to see your work. As we'd also like to see the work of Trumpet if it ever ends. Nothing prevents us to have many promotional videos.

Animated Pioneer logo for the final part of the video.The length is 15 sec. but I'll probably reduce it to 10 sec - depending on whole video length, which I would like to keep just a 60 sec.

Nice start!The badge looks washed out, and the font is wrong. Did you just pull it from the game? Here's a crazy hi-res one, if you need it: I also have a SVG version, let me know if that's useful to you and I'll put it up somewhere.The font is is the Titillium family. Titillium Web is near enough for general use. Orbitron is our heading font. I think for consistency I'd like to see them used throughout.I'm not a fan of the white burst background, but my personal style is fairly minimalist, so that might just be me. I'm just throwing it out there; you do as you like, of course :)I'm looking forward to see the rest!

I also have a SVG version, let me know if that's useful to you and I'll put it up somewhere.>I found SVG file (probably old one) here on the forum - yes, colors saturation and font is different and I like this one better. Will change it. <I'm not a fan of the white burst background>These fragments are just overlays. For example, the final scene (with logo) will have it's own background (open Space scene from Pioneer) so burst will not be so strong. Anyway, when the whole video will be assembles some things will be corrected

Nice! :)For me, it's not important to be credited, but if you care, the nickname is enough.

Nice work. But somehow, compared to the old video new promo video doesn't capture and reproduce the atmosphere and spirit of the game imo. At least it doesn't make me want to install the game. IMO the promo video is way too short. Fighting is probably not the central aspect of the game (it is most likely exploration) and as such the promo video shouldn't start with the sequence related to fighting. Moreover fighting scenes aren't that impressive because of the realism put in Pioneer (e.g. pixel-sized enemy ships due to the distance). The trading sequence looks more like a sequence related to exploration and doesn't even show a single trading screen. Finally I would like to see much more on exploration (currently only 12 seconds, i.e. 20% of the total video length) as well as on the many other features of the game not shown here (maps, ships, cities, specific missions, etc). Sorry if this feedback sounds a bit harsh and I don't want to offend anyone. I'm just providing here my "end-user" feedback, and I wouldn't be able to create such a nice video myself.

Maybe a longer, slower and more descriptive video could be better. I was expecting more slow sequences of explorations and some view of the interface. Mainly because exploring is the thing that I do most and, at the moment, I don't see Pioneer as a fast paced space combat simulation... I feel it more contemplative like Tarkovskij's Solaris or Stalker with their minutes long cuts, than Star Wars or even Babylon 5.

Exploration is my favorite part of any game

and it would be great to make video just on the exploration, but no way it will fit to 1 minute and, being long, it most probably will not look like a promo video - mostly like in-game footage. Anyway for slow-paced scenes some content have to be re-filmed without camera shakes / jumps. I understand all your points, but you can't fit 3 hours in 60 seconds
