That takes me back, Geraldine! The BBC wouldn't play it because of his manager's links to Radio Caroline. The pirate radio stations were a vital part of the '60s music scene, but the "establishment" hated them, and BBC Radio1 was created to try and compete.

Having once lived in Córdoba, I'm a fan of flamenco. Leyenda - a piano piece by Albéniz - is pure flamenco.

I remember an interview where Jaz Coleman said he had been writing some classical music - I guess this led to his collaboration with Kennedy. I have seen him live, as the singer with Killing Joke.
