Some more mellotron. This is the band that I have seen live the most times. I think they were from Mansfield - used to play a lot of gigs around the North in the late 70's and early 80's.

Whenever I hear that Stones track, I feel like getting drunk. <grabs a bottle of Grolsch> Then I play...

... and I'm lost in the ozone again!

Mrs. Betty Pench was playing the trombone when she heard a knock on the door. "I wonder who that is at 11 o'clock in the morning?" she thought, and cautiously opened the door. Instead of the turbaned ruffian she expected she found a very nice young man. "Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a Triumph Spitfire or three thousand in cash?" She smiled. Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all, not that it's any of my business?" he giggled. "I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty

RIP Meatloaf.

On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
One by one, they're all slipping away! Much sadness!

Saw Meat Loaf at Donnington one time - was a really good show. Never bought any of his songs though. This is the only song I can remember listening to more than a few times

The Pretty Reckless are listed for the Saturday at Donington this year. Shame I'm too old for festivals.
