@cody You backed Limit Theory didn't you? I couldn't find the thread for it in the SSC so will just post here. Josh released the source code today. That's really the end of his involvement in the game. Perhaps someone else will take it to the next step? Kickstarter announcement here.

No, I backed away at the last minute. Added your link to the Limit Theory thread, btw.

Originally by Peter Green, this became a huge hit for Carlos Santana...

Ah....poor Peter.
I wish things had turned out better for him. Still, he left behind a legacy that will endure for many years to come. Here he is with John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, before his Fleetwood Mac MkI days. Musical magic.

Ah....poor Peter.
Aye! Too much acid (like poor Syd), and the ECT, damaged him. The Fleetwood Mac MkI line-up, with that triple-guitar attack of Green, Spencer, and Kirwan was awesome! So many tracks I could play - Man of the World, Rattlesnake Shake (long version) - but I'll go for this:

Been listening to Fleetwood Mac a lot over the last couple of weeks. Seen the modern version once about 8 years ago.

Yep, we just had a heavy downpour here and thunder is rumbling!
There's a connection between Thin Lizzy and Peter Green - Gary Moore bought Green's 1959 Les Paul (his "magic guitar").
I found a remaster of the 1970 gig in Boston - Rattlesnake Shake is much better quality than the one I have on CD.

Didn't hear any thunder or see any lightning despite the forecasts.
That live recording sounds a lot like what I have on my MP3 player - think it's actually a BBC In Concert recording though. Peter Green's famous Les Paul was offered to Gary Moore who owned it until his death. It was later bought by Kirk Hammett of Metallica.

One of our older members played this at our jam session last night - didn't know the song but sounds good

That song owes a lot to Chuck Berry...
Meanwhile, from the delightfully-titled For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night...

The jammer that played the Humble Pie song also does Little Queenie sometimes. I asked him if he might do 'I don't need no doctor' sometime as I know it from having a cover version by WASP.
