Hello all there,I am a friend of simulation games like civ2 rr2 and that sort but even played Elite2 on an atari520. For to now more about browser games I played some time ogame but not for long.A friend had the idea of creating our own browser/online game and I thought it would be a very interesting thing to create a browser game that is more complex than ogame. Because we are great fans of the dime novel? or penny dreadful? of Perry Rhodan, we wanted to create a browsergame that is capable of reflect the huge universe described there. This was in 2007. Now after 3 years we only have a web-server and I am on the way to create the simulation core. I am working as a software engineer and spend some time on the design and programming of this simulation core. So this is why it is all a bit slow in progress. But we are not willing to give up. On my way to find information on space game simulations I ended up here and it seems a good place to stop for a while.

Hello SimbadWelcome to the SSC.If your looking for ideas for your game there is loads to be found here, why not start by having a look at the download section and try out some of the classics there. Nothing like playing a great game from the past to give you inspiration or you could tell us a bit more about what you have planned for your game and get peoples views?Anyways enjoy your stay! :)

Hey SimbadWelcome to SSC and would be interested to hearing more about your game concept. ogame has a decent concept but lacks the draw to get me to play it. Thing about browser games that make them tough to design is because you have to forgo the action and high end graphics and really deliver a solid engine (core) to base the game off of that makes sense and will draw people in and keep them coming back.So if you have any blogs/website that shows off your work in progress be sure to post them and ask for some feedback i'm sure you will get it.
