I was talking to a buddy about the obvious shortage of good fleet level space games and when I got to work I stumbled upon this forum.Can someone recommend a good Space game to me. I LOVED the Homeworld games and enjoyed Nexus:Jupiter Incident but once the single player was over they all kind of petered out for me. I recently tried Sword of the stars but found that a bit tedious and almost no actual space battles, more like empire management than anything else IMHO. I have seen screen shots for a lot of newer games from small studios but don't know much about them so if someone could reccomend something good that would be great! TY in advance.

I was digging through some old boxes and found and remembered Nexus:The Jupiter Incident, and Hegemonia, both were pretty cool. I even remember enjoying Star Trek Armada, even though it got pointless/tedious pretty fast.I am going to install those and see if they are as cool as I remember.

Nexus has some really nice mods for it as well.

did you ever get homeworld cataclysm? the best one i think, as for Nexus:The Jupiter Incident its still installed here its just a shame this game never got the support it needed also multiplayer never worked
