Where are all the pirates?

Hi All,Just wondering, after spending the last couple of days getting to know where all the controls are, I haven't seen any pirates yet. Come to think about it I haven't seen another ship yet. Are there any known systems/locations I can try?So much I had forgotten about this game . . . ;)Ian.

OK, found some! I've been going to over-developed areas until now I suppose.Wow, combat is going to be, um, interesting ;)Ian.

its a work in progress alpha 8 hopefully has something interesting
