hello alli have been watching the progress of Pioneer for the last 18 months, back when there was just a couple of screenshots on the webpage. Things are really looking great and every new alpha release looks even more mouth watering!its great to see so many contributers getting behind this project - i wish i could offer more than my appreciation but i dont know a thing about programming. But as an old Gamer who played the orignal Elite on my old Speccy and then Frontier on the Amiga i cant wait for this project to be completed.appologies if posting this on here breaks some rule but i couldn't find a new members thread, and just wanted to share my appreciation to all. ;) it might also be a help to thicko's like me if there was some central way of accessing all the new buildings, ships etc - i think there was something like this done at SSC for FFED3D??? - maybe with some instruction - it may be too early for this at this stage in the projects evolution. :? I hope this goes from strength to strength,:D :) cheers Mr G

My guess would be once Pioneer is in some later Beta stages that a package like I made for FFED3D would be viable. Right now when I read through the Pioneer threads it seems like most of the additions do get added to the game. So I think it would be best to wait until the flow of changes are less so we don't have to repackage that often because it is a lot of work to build/test.

Generally all the content ready for use is put together for each alpha release, so as long as you have the latest release you'll probably have most of what's on offer at present. Luckily for us too, the releases have not been too far apart :) (touch wood)

Yes I agree with Darkone. The game is still having so many features and additions at the moment, your best best is to just keep reading the relevant threads. Many of the contributors leave links within their posts to the work they have just finished. And welcome to the SSC :)
