I was meant to interview Douglas Adams about the Hitchhiker's game that was being developed back in 2001, but the day before our meeting he sadly expired. I was sent to chat with the devs anyway, but it was a rather morbid set of interviews that came out. The game was canned a few weeks later.

Don’t remember hearing about any remake of the game, were they thinking about doing some thing similar Starship Titanic or was it to be more action based.

It was to be a third-person action adventure. All I saw of it was a cartoonish Arthur Dent in his trademark dressing gown, able to flick a towel at enemies to keep them at bay. [url]http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/1252041.stm[/url]

Shame they never went on with it, would have been interesting to see what they came up with.
