The OS X build only works on 10.6, despite the best efforts of our OS X guru (Philbywhizz). Unless someone with an older OS X steps up and offers to do regular builds we will only be able to build for OS X in the future. If you have Xcode and are so inclined you might try to build from source.

Thank you for the help. The font in the download area is hard to read in my screen resolution. I thought it said that it should work on 10.4 but it hasn't been tested. Oh well i'll have to stick to playing the original game.

Hi there,As robn has already pointed out, the BINARY that you can readily download from the pioneer site only works with 10.6. I have attempted to get earlier versions working, however it isn't the binary that is the problem, but the libraries as well (osx has a really strange way on dealing with 'dynamic' libraries which I won't go into here).You can always upgrade to Snow Leopard (Lion is out next month!).
There is nothing however stopping you from downloading the source code and compiling it yourself on 10.4. I've written up a COMPILING.OSX file to get you started (You don't even need Xcode).

Thanks this is going to help a lot! If only I had ever compiled something before. Well, there is a first time for everything!
