II minutes of the new Aliens game

Looks quite..... "pleasant" ?

I watched this just yesterday and thought it came out good so far and hope they cover a lot of the alien back story during the game. But what looks fun is the fact there is a ton of aliens everywhere and some new ones to boot. They set the right mood of the game with the darkness and everything and the classic locator sounds.

i like gearbox alot they make good games, Aliens: Colonial Marines looked dark and moody just how i like it, gearbox know how to make fps and if its half as good as Aliens versus Predator (video game) on the pc all them years ago i'm definitely getting it, like Aliens versus Predator (video game) was one of the best game i played 12 years ago in 1999, it was one of the only games that made me jump out of my skin alot , just like system shock 2........... ahhh the good old days

I might get this if I go ahead and get the 360.Speaking of old Alien games any one play the 8 bit Aliens game, I remember as you turned around the aliens would appearing in front of you. That game had a lot of tension in it with the motion tracker IIRC.

I am still hoping that Team 17 will do a modern re-make of Alien Breed 3D 1 & 2

They have done a reboot of the 2D ones although opinions varies as to weather it any good.

Wow how long have we been waiting?! Looks like it should be good if done right. I can imagine it being similar to Dead Space in terms of survival horror. Hopefully they won't fill it too much with quotes and references to Aliens the film though, we all know the script pretty much just a few reminders every now and then...

Think I read somewhere that it's been delayed until the summer.

Blast we not going to see it till next year now.

It's looking good, hope it's not all hype and there's a decent game in it.

Agreed. As long as they can keep a dark horror aspect to the game, with being startled and the aliens using teamwork that would be great. But they really do need to stick to the Aliens movie type setting which they look like it is a huge factor in the game by the look of it. And if the 1st Sargent sounds like he does giving orders throughout the game it will be great

New trailer for the game and it's out next week.  Anyone know what the music is, sounds very familiar but I can't place where I have heard it before.

For some reason the music gives me memory flashbacks from Mass Effect gameplay although I'm sure this isn't from there. The track sounds familiar to me too but I just can't say for certain where it is from.

Got it knew I had heard it before, it's from the film Moon. 

By all accounts a complete and utter disaster of a game. Vere glad that I did not put it on pre order as I was going to do last weekend, one to get when it drops way down in price.
