Hi guys,I've just started playing DarkStar One and last night I bumped into a pirate hideout and got a weapon for killing their boss. I'm wondering if anyone know the locations of the pirate hideouts in the game?

Thanks.

With the DarkStar One forums gone forever it is hard if this was documented. Quick search online netted me nothing. I know when I played I came across a few, how many total in the game and where they all are I don't know.

The only thing I can remember about this game is that it was very repetitive . All pirate hideouts are the same, all systems are the same, all dialogues the same. All things considered, Freelancer was a much better game than Darkstar One although it is a bit older than it.

If you read the news in every sector, you can find hints about pirates lurking in some systems. Jumb in that system and target wrecks, anomalies, everything that seems suspicious in the target list. Every sector has two or three pirate clans. (Two waves of fighters, and a wave consinting of the pirate boss, and his bodyguards).

Seem to recall reading that the developer appear as pirates towards the end of the game.Pick up the 360 version of DS a few weeks back, still haven’t got the 360 yet to play it on.

Anyone know what the differences are between the console and PC version.
