Interstellar Defence Troops Preview

Winter Rain Games has just recently released a new space tower defence game called Interstellar Defence Troops (IDT). It is your typical tower defence type of game but in outer space, using some interesting units and structures. There is a few game modes in IDT such as; Battles, Survival, Rush and Waves. Gameplay is easy to grasp if you have played any tower defence or rts style games. The back drops are nice and the music and sound effects are good as well.What is the difference in the game modes? Battles: is your typical scenario/story style missionsSurvival: build your base and establish income and protect it through various waves of enemiesRush: this mode is challenging just because within seconds you have the enemy coming at you. The benefit to playing this mode is more structures and more resources.Waves: Similar to survival but in that you can send out waves yourselfUnits and structures can be upgraded and new tech can be researched.There is a demo but it is a little on the short side in my opinion, but it does give you a feel for the game and what you can expect if you purchase the game (currently $5).
