We're in Space?! is a roguelike, space adventure game with management elements and turn-based combat. I don't know , but in the far 80s Namco did games like Space Invaders, Phoenix etc. What they missed was simply to add some scenes showing how you build your own ship, so they could have called it Space Game :) If an arcade game, then I rather like to skip such interruptions and simply shoot and dodge... On the other hand, yes, why not doing a mix of arcade and space simulation, all the subject is currently much too 'serious' to my taste. However I don't think such a style will reach high acceptance, but let's see: There is a community for the 'Boderlands' or comic style games which are well done, and a community for the 'Crysis' or 'FarCry' type games that do the same but try to be more realistic. Both approaches can be entertaining. XenonS
