Hi folksArchamedes from the Frontier forum, has kindly given me permission to upload parts 1 to 4 for his Frontier Elite II comic to the SSC. I've put them alongside the PC version of Frontier as I felt that was right. They are only 18 megs (pdfs) in size each and certainly worth a look. Found some more goodies to add to the Frontier Elite II archive  Stories OF Life On The Frontier in txt form, scans of the actual manual, The Frontier Gazzetta, Quick Reference Card and...........an original Beta Tester Report!  You Pioneer devs should take a look at that last one, once you read it you will realise somethings never change!Now just scans of Life On The Frontier, the galaxy map and the book Secrets Of Frontier Elite II to find

Hi NorthWelcome to the SSC. Thanks for that, but I already have the Gazetteer. The last thing I need to complete the FE2 archive is a pdf of the "Stories Of Life On The Frontier" book. I've already got it in text form, but there was some artwork also in the original book which would be nice to have. After this, the hunt is on for Elite and FFE docs too. So if you could help out there in anyway I would be grateful :)Any contributions can be easily uploaded to the appropriate part of download area as long as they are archived with 7zip first to save on space

I must have overlooked this thread, those screenshots of the artwork Geraldine? Wow that is some nice stuff there, I will have to download these when the collection is complete and have a read. On average how long is each comic 20-230pgs?If you can Geraldine, when completed if you can list all the files that are comics I will consolidate them all into one package and remove the single files or make a separate folder for them.

Yes I have been quietly adding to the FE2 archive.I am (taking my lead from what GOG does) trying to put together the game with the original docs that came with it. A sort of "Special Edition". I hope to do the same with Elite and FFE when I can find them or perhaps someone out there can add them themselves.Now to the comic, each one is about 30 pages in size (give or take). They are called Frontier Elite 01 to (at present) 04.pdf. Archamedes is having a wee break before finishing the last part. He originally intended it to only have 3 parts but the story developed until extra instalments were necessary. Why wait Darkone get stuck in! I will update the thread when the 5th issue comes out ;)EDIT: There was a typo in the 4th issue but Archamedes provided an updated issue 4. You will find it under the file name "frontier-elite-041.pdf" in the archive

Yaay! I managed to create a pdf of "Stories Of Life On The Frontier". Any mistakes you might find are my own, although I hope there are not anyEDIT: Drat! Found some small conversion errors in the txt that Open Office was kind enough to add, anyways, now uploaded a new version called SOLOTF1.1.pdf.

A wee update on part 5 of the Comic. Unfortunately Archamedes is going to be busy for a good while working a rather cool film! So part 5 could be put back until next year!Anyways, here is a trailer for the film he is working on

There is one file for the comic that is not needed, its called frontier-elite-04.pdfThis file can be deleted as it had spelling errors and so, Archamedes uploaded the corrected 4th part.Also just remembered another un-needed file, SOLOTF.pdf This file can also be deleted as it had errors.

Geraldine do these comics have titles besides Frontier Elite pt 1-4?

Hi DarkoneIf you mean does each part have an episodic title, the answer is no. This is just the way Archamedes titled them. Still hoping he will get back to part 5 soon. I mean, he cant leave us all hanging like this! :girlcrazy:

Great news folks! Archamedes has just completed part 5 of the Frontier Comic and what a conclusion it is! I have tried to upload the final episode to the SSC but there seems to be an issue. Perhaps Darkone or Pinback can look into it? Hi Pinback, thats where I tried to upload it, but it kept reporting an error when I tried to add the file to the archive. I think it needs someone with admin level to sort it. D1 has been busy of late so I wont bother him about it. Besides, the links in my last post have episode 5.
