wow looks awesomea good idea would be if all the developers that are making indie games like this and pioneer would join to make one game :)the pros would be more faster development and a ton of ideas and features.the only cons would be pride but I doubt many developers has this since they do this for love of the genre.

These things are pretty much in opposition to each other. Lack of focus kills momentum.

One Game to rule them all, One Game to find them,One Game to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

Very smooth effects and planet transitions. The limnal drive is nice, think the only thing you need is some way to tell which planets/stars you are near so you can navigate to them and not use line-of-sight.

This was really cool and I like how simplified it is to design something, wish more mod tools were this easy to use.

Yeah, the reentry effect sure is cool. Also the planet and the rest of the graphics are pretty good.

Looks like they getting ready for a playable demo of the game http://elliptic-games.com/?p=160 I’ve been working hard on enemy AI / ship combat over the past few weeks. Getting closer to a playable build that I can release out into the world comfortably. But I’ve also been trying, in my spare moments, to finish up creating all of the necessary planets and asteriods for the game. As usual, it’s a bigger job than I could have anticipated!
