Playable Captial Ships

I'm looking for a relativity new game thats easy on the eyes and can let you fly capital ships in a fun manner. Why do I say fun? Because Eve and STO were really boring after while. Grindfests

Starpoint Gemini although they never really got the size of the ships right.X games no fun to play unless you into economic simulations in a big way.

I'm looking for something with more complex graphics than Shores or Ensign. Blockade Runner looks really interesting though as Minecraft in space, I'll give that a look. Freeworlds seems kind of cool to as a star wars mod. Still looking for something more modern though

I know this is long overdue, but Freelancer has various Mods released which allow usage of Capital ships - including the Discovery Mod.
