While trying to be sneaky and getting pioneer to work on my work PC...I fire it up and the SDL_app window appears and then the pc goes into some form of blinking panic finally ending in a complete freeze....very similar to this threadhttp://spacesimcentral.com/forum/topic/1140-can-install-but-wont-run/ is even the same gfx family, so my question is where is this .ini file they refer to disable the shaders that seem to be the answer for that individual. I realise this is many alphas on and things have changed....

thanks walterar, never thought of looking there. It fixed the problem and can now run pioneer at work.

Take care of your work. Pioneer is very addictive. <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//drag.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':drag:' />

I have a minor prob. too! After updating my Graphics driver, and playing with the Shader options on, i get transparent meshes with random white spots on them.Sure can play without problems once i restart with the shaders off.Wasn't a problem with my older drivers thougt.Anyone knows why this particular problem happens?
