There are 4 versions of the same image. Just with background picture of diffrent style.I need your help to decide which one is the best. So please, pick one you like the most.You dont have to tell why but it would be a nice addition. Face picture is just a placeholder so dont waste your time stating the obvious. Focus on the Background and how it "blends" with the rest.To enlarge the picture just click on it. Thank you kindly.Oh and i almost forgoten - number 1 is actualy animated. it scrolls and have noise, like in SF movies or i dont know - Fallout?1.2.3.4.

I voted 4 but just to let you know why, 2 and 3 have too much light imo. And 1 reminds me too much of Syndicate (may be wrong but it does).

reminding Syndicate is bad? i loved that game! it killed half of my childhood <img src="'[url]http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gif[/url] class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />i dont like 2 that much, as for 3 - i noticed that the blue color looks beautiful with the rest. oh and remember - 1 is animated! in action it looks like the image is being seen from a CCTV or something. it moves and is more alive.But yeah, my personal favorite is 4. its just so moody.

I guess something you have to ask is the theme of the game, because if it is more dark/sinister then the images would have to portray that, but for now I like #3.

actualy iam very happy you share my taste because - thats the funny part - all my friends picked ALL but THIS one hah.not to derail my own topic but originality is quite overrated. and the mood of the Syndicate is actualy something i would kill for. Heavy, serious, dark, mechanic, and edgy. You see something like this and you know already - it aint no gummybears land!But yes, i aim for golden middle betwen "beautifull" and "heavy-tech".87 views and 3 votes? I go for 4 as well because it has more of a warm colour/hue to it, 2 & 3 are too cold and 1 is too dark.

I think it all depends what the race specialises in.in my view the backgrounds could reflect the following:1. electronic or cyber race2. race adapted to exotic environment3. high tech race4. industrial race
