Hi! I'm looking for a list of keys used in various game context (in flight, maps). I found some of them in the quickstart.txt file, in the controls configuration screen and others watching some videos on yt by bchimself, but I'm quite sure that I don't know all of them.ps. Is it possible to hide the cockpit? I think it would be useful when taking screenshots. (Is there a topic where I can post some screenshot taken in my trips? <img src='http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//prankster.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':prankster:' /> )

Eran100 recently asked about undocumented keys. I know that there are some because I've seen them mentioned in the forum as they were added, but I never made a list and have forgotten what they are. I was hoping someone else would answer eran100 so I could get them too. I just discovered that '[' and ']' (left and right brackets) change the range of the cockpit scanner, so here's one. Here's a link to the screenshot thread.http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/topic/2116-wanted-new-screenshots/ you can't hide the cockpit yet. I sometimes crop the image instead.

Maybe we could use this topic to post the undocumented keys? I think it could be useful for the new wiki. <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />From bchimself videos I learnt Ctrl click on time acceleration to force that multiplication and Ctrl click on autopilot to keep the nose forward. Also:Shift [1-4] to switch viewShift F[1-5] time accelerationNumbers works in menus (as with the autopilot), when docked. So 1=Lauch request, 2=Shipyard, and so on... (even if the buttons don't have numbers written upon).OT: I think it would be useful to have also: Ctrl-Shift [1-4] force time acceleration and Ctrl - F5 for the heading lock.

Why not document it on the wiki instead? Then it becomes more like proper game documentation. If you want changes, open a feature request.

I agree with both of you, it should go into the wiki so everyone can find it. Threads like this tend to get buried in the forum after a while. Perhaps this would be a good place to discuss things before they are added. For example, I tested the Ctrl click autopilot with the Eagle MKI. I got a conformation message saying the forward view was locked. I expected the ship to travel to the target facing forward all the way but it turned around as normal about halfway there. I switched to rear view and found that the back of the ship wasn't visible as it usually is, giving a clear view of my destination.

Excellent! Now we can refer this to new people. Btw, I found one minor typo so in wiki fashion I registered and fixed it. <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Only one typo? I'm quite surprised, since english is not my native language. <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
