Well after my epic fail with Xcom, I have been thinking about getting this game seems to be getting a lot of favorable chatter on the net, but if it has anything to with Steam I am not touching it with a ten foot barge pole.Anyone played it.

Tried a bit of this. "Pretty" game, but no 3rd person view so I will give it a miss until it gets modded in.

What happened with Xcom for you Pinback. This is the first time watching this preview for this game, looks different. Kinda has elements of Thief in it.

It is a solid game with a definitive inkling to make you play a second time through. Being a bethesda "published" game and not a bethesda "produced" game I too was subconsciously clicking the "c" button for the 3rd person view from time to time. Otherwise I enjoyed the alternative ways to accomplish missions and the creative landscape, which was unlike any I have experienced.

Didn't work from the get go, after I had installed Xcom and suffered the 1GB update I hit the play button only for the computer to crash.Dishonored on the other hand has worked first time, brilliant game being playing it since I got it on Thursday, getting close to the end now but it's a game which demands a number of replay. It definitely has Elements of Thief in it as well Deus Ex and Hitman if you like any of these game will like this one

Excellent game just got to the end of it, also looks as if it has sold well enough for a sequel <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/11/28/dishonored-sold-an-awful-lot-of-copies-franchise-born/

It's an excellent game Geraldine although some have complained about it being too short, also if you are thinking about buying it check out Game as they were selling it for £18.00.
