The search for Voyager

There's been a bit of noise and news regarding the Voyager probe approaching the start of interstellar space. Right now she's about 122 AU from Earth, and that's in 35 years (these numbers are from memory, feel free to correct). Based on those figures, we're looking at about 3.5 AU per year. So in the year 3200, Voyager could be around 4250 AU away from Sol (another disclaimer - the error bars on that figure would be unbelieveably huge). That would be quite an Easter Egg, hmmm?

Hi BugbearIf you fancy converting these free models to add to the game you could have your hearts desire (Pioneer Probe is here also

Even if we included it... the probability of your stumbling across it would be small, approaching zero.

Yeah, I doubt that anyone will ever play that gold record. Still, that's what would make it a great Easter Egg, especially if it was programmed so that nobody could be exactly sure of where it was. If a player found it and scooped it up they could make a fortune from selling it due to its historical value!
