Never played it, always remember picking the box up in the shop as it has great box art and looking at the back and thinking nope not my sort of game.

I did play it, but on the Atari ST. Damn, I kinda remember the game, specially the images  It was very cool at the time And I guess I'm getting old too

yaya played this on the amiga 500 - easy to learn but extremely hard realtime-strategy (not like those realtime-tactics like command&conquer), especially with the limited amount of space(that means slots) for ships and facilitiesit has also a very nice atmosphere with that sound design. nothing beats "double-density" terra-formating ! me getting old too xD edit: and right after that youtube vid comes a selection of other old titles - now listening to "Lost patrol"

Yes, I played that game. And the Megatraveller Series... to bad MT3 never got released.A tragedy of epic portions. The Megatraveller series was great. Now there is a game series that should be worth modern remake.

I still reckon that Megatraveller 2 is a better space RPG and anything found in Mass Effect.
