Too bad they're just eye candies. In the leaked Freelancer 2 footage, you could actually fly around cities like these. It was like sci-fi GTA or something.

I'm sure the artists they have working on the game can probably make it better than the concept art, has it been said or not on whether we will be able to move about the cities or stations? 

I think the city's in SC are going to be like the ones in Privateer/Freelancer where you have a cutscene landing then have some freedom to move around the landing pad.

I agree with Pinback. I think it's just going to be a cutscene and then we'll have a large map on which we can walk to get to different areas (bar / shop / bank / sex shop etc.)

Can't find the page (one of the dev notes where Chris talked about first person) but I doubt the will be any FPS stuff added anytime soon. I would suspect it will be in the style of FL where you switch from room to room at the beginning...

There must be some FPS in there some where and I think it will be in the bording parties, since they are making weapons for this. Reason I am saying this is that if you were both in the Shroud of the Avatar and Star Citizen kickstarters you would get a special personal weapon in SC.

Remember that early video of the landing pad so their could be some action there as well.
