Looks really well in the model viewer anyway Ill try it out later in-game. I assume this is licenced in some way and cant be used in Pioneer core?

Yeah it's a model I found online somewhere, ripped and fixed up from the original I'd bet - not something we could ever use for Pioneer but it's ok as a mod.I have a bunch more, in fact all of them, but it takes a lot of work to fix up each model.

I kinda like the more vertical nature of some Homeworld ship. I have some rough sketches for smaller crafts with similar layout already.

Yeah I've been trying to model a frigate/destroyer based on a similar shape but I'm not really good enough yet. On the plus side I have found a tool that helps me to generate a collision mesh quite quickly!  [url]https://code.google.com/p/hacd/[/url] You can use the TestHACD or TestHACD64 exe's (windows only) if you download everything from there. I used a command line like: "TestHACD64.exe -m 50 -merge 50" but you just need to play around with it.

Head over to Homeworld Complex and Homeworld Rebirth for the latest mods for Homeworld 2. Both teams are always looking for new content to add to their mods. Also the general community of Homeworld 2 needs new tutorials written in regards on how to create models for Homeworld 2 and then get the models into the game.
