Not sure if you are planning on implementing an achievement system and I appreciate they aren't everyone's cup of tea but certainly break up the gameplay when one pop's and you think , cool I wasn't expecting that! Some random one's I can think of; * Building repaired after being reduced to 5% structural integrity. * You've found Water! * You've found Ore! * You've completed your first mission objective * You have found a dis-used moonbase facility to utilise as your own. * Basic Structures built within x time * x Ore storage reached within y minutes * x Water storage reached within y minutes etc etc you get the idea, I'm sure the community could think of some more once they get a hold of the alpha. It would be nice to compare achievements in a social/in game chat system but I guess that could be a stretch target. Target is nicely progressing, over half way there now.

Good news, for this idea! it has something I have wanted to implement and over the last few days, along side building up more of the story and missions I have made a list of achievements, I also want these to give you a reward rather than just a message etc, not sure what the reward will be just yet though.

Great News - Hmm rewardsHow about faster generation of x resource for a limited period of time, mad rush to build storage depots to stockpile. I guess the trading element would come into its own then.I suggest new choices of building skins but I know that's lots of extra work.On the subject of skins, any chance you could paint the repair ships a different colour for alpha so we can distinguish them from the other ships

better off making the achievements like unlockable extras, every achievement unlocks more game content or special content for that.

I would like to but more content = more time, and the kickstarter only raised the minimum to get the game made and with slow after sales it unfortunately means that there has to be a limit to what is possible to do with the funds gained. It was something I would like to do is add unlockable content but will have to see how things go. The better chance is to have achievements give rewards to help game progression, e.g. get x amount of achievement points and get some science points back or a free building to choose from etc, instead of brand new content.
