Hi guys, I'm starting this thread for a new Facebook game I'm creating (ready for beta test soon). It will feature spaceship dogfights, resource collection plus trading, cool special missions, eg bounty hunting, and fashion model characters for cut-scenes etc. I've just launched a KickStarter campaign to get funding to complete it, please check it out, I'd really appreciate feedback. [url][/url] Nick

Welcome to the forums Nick. The thing I would impress upon you to do is updates, updates and more updates as it the only way to communicate with your backers and they can be re posted on forums to generate interest in the game. Also I would not post any stretch goals until you know that you will hit the target, good that you have included the dollar value in the tiers but I tend to think that the pledges need to thought in dollars even if you are using sterling so £3 would be $5 ect as a lot of the backing comes from the US. Best of luck with the Kickstarter Nick.

update. Our next casting continues our link up with those creative peeps from Arty Fakes and the fabulous Tabitha Lyons. Tabitha Lyons has agreed to be Caprice Darwindota, and Artyfakes are going to make her her very own cyborg outfit!Check out this little vid from Tabitha about her involvement!  

Looks like they are throwing the towel in, although as the Kickstarter was not focused on the game which is probably the bigger their reason for lack of backers. HI everyone, some good news - Cimmerian Space is now running on Chrome for Android, we will be adding some cool features, voice control for weapons and targets, tilt control for tablets, and a touch interface.However since the kickstarter seems to have stalled we are thinking of aborting! We have learned allot from this launch and made allot of mistakes too. We may come back again in the future with a pitch more focused on our new Mobile potential, what do you think?We greatly appreciate the support from those of you that have backed us so far! 

update 4 Announcing a new character and casting! Magmaderm played by Antione Allen.Inspired by a shoot i saw on Icelands volcanic beaches, with the model painted jet black. It was a very striking image. Antoine Allen will feature with his iron body also painted jet black and an additional facial prosthetic to distinguish him from the humans!If you have pledged for the Bridge Crew reward, you will receive Magmaderm as a free character! 

Kickstarter cancelled. To all of you who backed my kickstarter i just wanted to say a big thank you. I learnt allot from the experience and made allot of mistakes. I hope to re-launch in future with a better looking product and a sharper pitch aimed at mobile and laptop devices. So Stay Tuned!We are working on a graphics upgrade with better looking laser guns and explosions, some tweaks to the game play, and a mobile version of the game. Maybe more focus on the game rather than a photo shoot next time.
