I finally got around to making this work with Scout+. If you change the name of the "default.dds" file to "ub6.dds" it becomes the skybox for Sol. I'll probably change the name of the original file to "default.dds" so that they'll all show up in Scout+. I like purple too.

Vuzz, here's a mod of your mod for Scout+. I renamed the .dds file and renamed the .zip file to make it read after PioneerScoutPlus alphabetically. Instructions for readers: If you're running stock Pioneer then use Vuzz's mod.If you're running Scout Plus then use my mod of Vuzz's mod. [attachment=2544:Vuzz_Milkyway_SP.zip] 

I discovered that the name of Sol's skybox has changed in Scout Plus 16. Here's an updated mod. [attachment=2555:Vuzz_Milkyway_SP16.zip]
