Greetings spacefarers, Has anyone tried out Entropy? I hadn't heard of it until Steam recommended it to me earlier today when I was browsing: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/app/255500[/url] [url]http://www.playentropy.com/[/url] Initial impressions looked promising; good screenshots, 3D space combat, a polished and professional website. Reading the reviews and the forums on the Steam Community, however, tells a different story - it looks like most of the game actually plays out on a fixed-grid 2D space/system map, like some kind of old RTS game, with the 3D sandbox only there for occasional dogfights. On that basis I'm not going to risk spending my money (it's only at the Early Access stage, but the devs have made it clear that the 2D map is never going away) but would be interested to know if anyone else has played it? Thanks, auryx

This one is a bit of an enigma; it seemed to come out of nowhere on the wake of Elite and Star Citizen's crowdfunding success. From the comments, I've gathered what it aims to be and what it delivers aren't the same. For my money, give it time.
