Hi all Don't really have much interesting to tell, just a dreamer who would like to one day gather the patience to become an indie game developer, as with many I have my 'dream' space sim I'd love to make a reality. For now though its great to see whats being made, feels very much like a space sim renaissance lately.

Welcome to the forum Incognito. Lot of hard work being an indie developer and they can spend years making just one game.

I need more time just to play games, nevermind make one
But GL in making one and you will always have a place to gather feedback on anything you do put together. Welcome to SSC.

and start small. limit the scope of the first project to the most narrow and focused design possible and see how fun/interesting you can make it. and dont even try to make the code design extensible for the future... it's a huge waste of time for a 1.0 project since a year later you'll just want to start from scratch anyway.
