Hi all! I'm Igor from Dreamatrix Game Studios. First - I apologize I didn't post in the official Spaceforce sub-forum. I simply wish that more people see this topic, so Mr. Admin please grant me this small wish  Some of you perhaps know me already since I already talked with your amazing community regarding our successfully funded Kickstarter project Wave of Darkness. SpaceSimCentral community played an incredibly important role with our funding because several members had incredibly important pledges  ANYWAY I'm here to give away 10 Steam keys for our re-released Elite-inspired space-sim title Spaceforce: Rogue Universe HD. The reason we re-released the title is because after a long legal dispute with our former publisher, Rogue Universe is finally back where it belongs, with Dreamatrix. Why am I making this giveaway? Spaceforce: Rogue Universe is a rock solid space sim and quite beautiful in parts too as I recall, bare in mind I am only talking about the standard version not the HD edition that Iggy is offering here, so it will be even better! :girlcrazy: Good luck to you and hope you get plenty of sales Iggy.

in the old version there was a bug?feature? that took the games title pretty literally - your very expensive wingman get sometimes hostile without any reason (like getting friendly fire from you) - without that gameplay destroying bug - even the old version was rocksolid once you get over the lil bug that the weapon effects and shield resistances didnt work as stated in game. So far my lil review of the old original version(although it had very high resolution - if i remember right even HD and higher if your hardware could run it)....I hate those relaunches and adding HD although it already was working in "HD" and was looking very good. That means be careful. And i would like to hear if they resolved the 2 mentioned issues in this "HD" version.

I don't do Steam, but as I do still have the original DVD, I'm kinda covered (unless it's been greatly improved, of course).Appreciate the offer though. Kudos for that, and for the game itself - I had many hours of enjoyment out of it!

Because of the legal reasons we couldn't release the "original" SFRU on Steam, neither we can support it. For now. We had to update it, upgrade it and name it differently. Things are not always very simple in the world of small developers

When are you going to start sending keys to backers? Most likely Monday. The keys are sent to HumbleBundle, and now it's up to them to process the keys. We are preparing a Kickstarter update regarding the keys.

We have received an email from HumbleBundle, and it appears the keys will be ready in Wednesday instead. So now it's official, basically. The Kickstarter update will be live in Tuesday.
