Artificer Artificer is currently under development by DTDigital You play the role of a security contractor in the wake of a crisis, an open rebellion has begun to tear across the galaxy. In exchange for new technology, you accept contracts that require you to:Defend space stations from aggressorsEngage in space skirmishes to eliminate flagshipsBattles of attrition to claim clusters of stations from enemiesEscort valuable cargo ships across the expanse of space. Partake in combat and attempt to wipe out the enemy force. This technology may be in the form of completely new ships or weapon upgrades. Everything you destroy - asteroids, ships, yield materials that may then be used to build this technology. Rip apart your enemies and use their hulls to build your own. Download on itch.io Follow on Facebook Follow on Twitter

Looks like a decent top-down game so far, almost looks like it could be on a mobile device as well at some point. I think the game and game HUD are fine but that station/ship interface needs a little more refinement, but that is my opinion :) Will add this to my game list when I publish the updates again soon.

I'm thinking of moving all the ship tracking components to the bottom left and then the Contract Viewer can be hidden and shown by pressing a certain key.

On the ship configuration screen, can you explain the green and orange dots on the equipment your attaching to the ship? Do they represent compatibility or mount-points?

Do they represent compatibility or mount-points? Hey,The dots are sockets, they are what the components use to connect to each other, kinda like magnets. The orange means open or unconnected, green is connected and yellow is pending, happens when you hover a socket over another and they snap together on release.
