My god is it nearly two year since I was last on the forum, thing have changed.
Lot of new game still coming out, then again some thing are still the same.

Star Citizen still in development.

Elite Dangerous is still crap.

egosoft making x bore game.

....*sigh*

Yeah. Yeah you really haven't missed much. That big 'revolution' of space games didn't really happen. I remember when I was eagerly awaiting E:D and X Rebirth. Nowadays I just play some Privateer, Freelancer, or EV Nova. (maybe some Space Rangers 2 HD.)

Space sims are where they have always been.

I don't know I think what we have now is a far greater choice of games, a lot of the indie devs have really pushed what these games can do, 10/20 years ago we only had a choice between the space trading game ie a clone of Elite of a space combat game which was a clone of Wing Commander.
we know I think this Starfield may turn out to be something very special assuming it does not get lost in the hype.

Yes technology caught up with SSC, I had to update the backend of the site to run on these newer versions of PHP/SQL and some other plugins. This is why SSC was getting hammered with spam constantly because of the security flaws in the backend. I solved that issue, now I am just slowly trying to put everything back together

Edit feature, people can't edit their posts? I swear they can I see people edit their posts and I believe everyone has the same permissions. The WYSIWYG editor I think has smilies, I can definitely look into getting more... no one has requested it until now.

I get to play some games a few hours a week... I have come to the conclusion that I will die before I play all the games in my steam library and I will will it to one of my kids to fight over hahaha

But good to have you back and hope your in good health. I will restore your moderator privs within the next day or so.

No it that they need recapping although I guess I will have to get it done at some point. It's when I went to put a card drive in and I removed the old hard drive I noticed that three of the pins have come off the IDE interface.I also think it may be the same problem with the other 1200 as well, plus I have notice that my CD squirrel interface is having problems, I have managed to find that it will work as long as the cable in a certain position.

Odd how no one have made new version of the squirrel, although it's probably down to their being no market for cd roms on the Amiga.
