This is game is more for my son, I am just not a huge fan of the minecraft feel. But it definitely look interesting and fun, Space Engineers is decent game too, it has a bit of a learning curve but more realistic graphics and situations.

Look like he been working on a new look for the game, moving away from the pixel art look.

What a big improvement like you mentioned, I wasn't really that interested in the game... but this new trailer has peaked my interest a bit more now. Not sure if it looks like it should be releasing in a month? Personally I think it still needs a bit more time in the oven. Wonder how the SP element is and whether there is enough in the game to not make it feel lonely and empty

Probably going into early access, good point about the single player, I might give it go but I never can get into these block building game.

The game Steam launch has been postponed by one month but you can still buy it through the website.

Last chance to buy the game outside of Steam but you will still get a steam key, if that makes any sense.
