There is also an open source Dune II remake to be found here called Dune Legacy:

You will need an original version of Dune II for it's .pak files in order for this to work. PAK file list here:

Always like the first game in the series had a great tune on the Amiga version of the game.
Think their is a talkie version on the PC.
