I think Disney is about to ruin Doctor Who, I didn't like this trailer

I don't think Disney will ruin it. I think Doctor Who will finally finish its transformation away from what the show was during the original run. I really liked Classic Who and miss it but the new show is better is in some ways (worse in others). It has always been a broad family show. I'm looking forward to it but aware I've probably outgrown it a bit.

I outgrew Doctor Who a long time ago. My favourite character? The Brigadier! "five rounds, rapid fire!"

Yeah, after Tom Baker, I stopped watching. For me, he was the last of a line of great Doctors.

I stopped watching after Tom Baker as well, I should set aside my old ways and give this a try .... which might happen in Dec since thats when I buy Disney+ for a month to watch everything I missed over the year :)

Not watch Doctor Who since the last series of Matt Smiths doctor.
Classic series had some really well written stories but was sometimes let down by some really bad effects.

The show is all over the place this year but I'm enjoying it a lot. I can't say it's going to win over any new fans but there is nothing quite like it for sure
