Does anyone watch The Fringe?

I have been liking this series a lot since I started watching it. In all aspects it is another X-Files type series and I think it is doing well... or least I hope. It seems whenever I like a TV show the network pulls the plug on it. But if you haven't checked it out then try there website: http://www.fox.com/fringe/There is a underlying story behind the whole show. But generally the episodes have nothing to do with each other and you get a little bit of info on the underlying plot each episode so you kinda have to pay attention a bit. Anyone else watch this have anything to say about the series?Sol

I'm loving Fringe. Top stuff. I like the little easter egg type hidden bits in it too. Did you notice 'The Observer' has actually appear in nearly every episode even the pilot episode!! There was a short vid on YouTube that shows all of his appearances to date.. I love that kind of stuff.

I'm going to have to pay more attention to my episodes then because I seem to miss the Observer most of the time. Thanks for the tip on that. I really like this show and I hope it doesn't go anywhere anytime soon.

Saw it last night and liked it a lot. I love the X-Files feel to the show and the other plots that continually grow behind the scenes that some people won't get if they haven't watched from the beginning. Next weeks episode looks good.

I just read that FOX has given the green light to The Fringe for a second season. This is probably one of the best TV shows on and it is good that it is going to continue on. J.J. Abrams did a good job on this one and hope we see this should around for sometime.

Well season two started last night and it was a good start. Can't wait to see Leonard Nimoy doing some acting, he is the bad guy as far as we can tell in the show. The last minute of the episode last night was classic.

just seen ep01 s02 some last weekend, it was as good as the whole season 01.

This show is great. Right at the end of that episode when you saw Charlie (shapeshifter), I was like oh this is gonna be good. Can't wait to see more scenes with Nimoy. If you liked the X-Files you will like this show.

Well the new season of The Fringe started tonight and was good and next weeks preview looks even better. It's a shame on the crappy time slot Fox gave them Thurs at 9pm but still worth your time especially if you liked the x-files.

I'm surprised this thread doesn't get any more attention because there isn't too many shows on TV that are close to The Fringe's great plot that they have developed. Yeah it could be a rough for someone just walking into the series but if you have been following all of the episodes of the show then you will have a appreciation for the complex storyline that was created for this show. Do I think they will drag out the Fringe for years...? No probably not I think they are progressing it a lot better than the X-files storyline. Yes there is quite the few similarities to The Fringe and X-Files which is why I like it so much, and even thought I loved all the different stories of the x-files I would have liked to see more progression of the underlying story with the alien conspiracy and the gov't.

I'm starting to regret I stopped watching the show like after the 6th episode. Reason for stopping: i found it weird that a doctor who was locked down for ages can solve a case in a few hours with just the most basic tools possibleReason for regreting: i have no other good shows to watch right now, other than Stargate UniverseSo, bottom line is, I need to start watching it again, right from where I left of

You won't regret it SolCommand the underlying story in the 1st seasons episodes are good, if the second season is where everything starts focusing on the main storyline instead of the x-files style single episode stories they told in the first season. If there was ever a legit replacement for the x-files this show would be it. I really liked last weeks episode :)I think you can watch most of the Fringe episodes on Netflix if that is available to ya.

I know what you mean. I nearly stopped watching them for the same reasons. Everything felt so contrived, but I'm glad I didnt as its pretty good. Not up to the X-files but still good.P.S I really liked the cheesy music from the 80s episode. In fact that whole episode is probably my favorite so far.

Last nights episode was good I thought. Are you caught up with all the episodes dan or you catching up? I think Fringe is one of the better shows on TV and really the only one I watch during the weekdays. Rest of the time I streaming something on Netflix.

I'm now up to number 7 I think in season 3. So I'm nearly up-to date, latest one was 9? or 8?Although here we are 2 weeks behind, so I suppose I am up-to date

What do you think of MadMen? Thats another that I have been following. The Wire is another very good one, you might find it a little boring at first (I did

), but if you stick with it its a gem. Also another I have been watching is The Event, but the boat's still out on that one
