I was surprised to see no thread for Start Crusader here. I played this game through twice, I quite enjoyed it. I still have it in a box somewhere.[url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Crusader[/url]

Not played that in years,might have to fire up the old emulator some time.if I ever get the time too.

One of the coolest things about that game was the ability to capture enemy ships and then fly them in missions. Too bad the game was unfinished with respect to the galactic map. You could take enemy territory but it had no effect on the storyline that I could tell.

Star Crusader is mentioned in the link list if that counts :)Is this F2P now because I can only find a demo?

Take 2 Interactive still exists, so this would not qualify as abandonware.

Ah, I loved this game! Too bad I was never able to pick up the Grimnada expansion pack. Would anybody who picked it up lemme know how that part of the game went?

Never knew that there was an expansion pack made for the game.

Yeah, me neither. Information is sparse, and I couldn't find a download, but it certainly did exist.
