Hails Mates

Hailsa all,I'm known to many as HunterKiller. I've been playing Freelancer for the past 7 years and love it. I've played at least 200 plus mods and have enjoyed any of them. I've joined man servers and am still active on them as I can find the time. There are many more that are no longer up due to RL and I miss some of them.I had my own server up for over 2 1/2 years as well. It was fun while it lasted but due to a move and my ever-so- loving ISP, something is preventing it from being accessed by none other than myself? I'm also a Server Admin on a few servers. (names and ID withheld to protect my influence on them) I'm a member of many of the websites for Server Ops as well. Hopefully, we can keep the game of Freelancer alive for many more years to come even though, Microsoft & Digital Anvil don't think it's worth their time, it's certainly worth ours.I'm not much of a mod creator and have never had one to become successful to date. I guess I just don't have that sort of talent but hope to be able to do something that will work soon. I know many in the field and I've been searching for the right tips to be able to make it happen. Patience and taking it bit by bit is the key but, I seem to be a bit hasty....no, let me correct that, I just rush into it rush into it like a Sidewinder Missile trying to hit it's new target.
Anyways, I have played many other games and many of them I have enjoyed just as well but, not as much. I love the interaction with the players I've met from all walks of life by gaming online. If we all could get along in RL as well as we do in-game,(settling our conflicts in a good PvP match
) I think we would all be better off. I've learned a lot over these past 7 years from History about other countries, computing, and languages, something I don't think I would have ever learned in all the years I spent in school. In game, I'm hearing from those who live it and not from a book as to the way they want you to learn it.If the world were ever lose it's power source, lets all hope we have enough batteries to keep our laptops per se, active and gaming alive.Have fun and enjoy.HK
