Hi All,Did anyone ever play Hellbender?I seem to recall that I got a demo version of it with my copy of Windows 95 about 15 years ago. All I remember was that it wasn't very sophisticated, but was good fun and featured the voice of Gillian Anderson as your computer

The thumpin' soundtrack was pretty good too.I did a quick search and found some YouTube vids:Hellbender Intro:

Thanks Darkone. Yeah, I guess it wasn't even really much of a "space sim" - more like a freeform 3D shooter in the same vein as Descent. But it certainly had space sim elements to it.auryx

Never heard of it. looked at the vids on youtbe and it looks like a fun game, will have to keep an eye out for a copy.Although I think Anderson sound very flat in it, she must have been very bored when she recorded her lines.

I'm fairly sure she was trying to sound like an emotionless computer. Though actually one of the 'e's in 'E.V.E' (the name of the computer she voices) might have stood for emotion, can't remember.
